I painted this work the way life unfolds — through mistakes, experience, and memory.
Beneath its surface lie two finished paintings, hidden under layers. I erased one to allow another to emerge.
I named it Fallen Angel. It was born in 2021 — after two years of therapy and deep inner work.
It holds the emotions and states I moved through during that period of my life. They overlap, like layers of paint on canvas — concealing, yet preserving the essence.
At some point, I had a realization: everything I felt back then was, in a way, an illusion.
Yet even stepping out of that state, I understood — the actions shaped by those emotions were so dark that even an angel could not wash them away without a trace.
